The Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection is a luxurious hotel situated in the heart of Bucharest. It features a spa, an indoor pool and a restaurant. The property also offers free WiFi throughout the property and a concierge service.

Easily one of the best hotels in Bucharest!Me and my wife enjoyed every single second of our stay at The Marmorosch Bucharest! The room in which we stayed (Titanium Room) is spacious, comfortable and has an outstanding balcony which offers a great view. The overall service was highly professional and we were delighted to be surprised with desserts when we entered our room. Little details like this further enhance one's stay. The dinner we enjoyed at the Blank restaurant was amazing and the room service breakfast was the perfect choice. Lots of possibilities to select from. This hotel is a true gem right in the heart of Bucharest and we will definitely come more often!

If there was one word to describe this hotel…Incredible. The price point is amazing for the high level that it is. The food is divine (I highly recommend the Aubergine). The Gym is humble but has everything you need for a good workout. The Spa area is tranquil, a nice sized pool (not fit for long lengths of swimming) but spacious and underneath a back lit galactic art piece. The sauna is spacious, lighting perfect and can be as hot as you need. The steam room smells great and offers an alternative mood with a different hue of lighting. I didn’t have time to book a treatment but the staff were very friendly I’m sure the treatments are great.I didn’t come across a single staff member that wasn’t warm friendly and accommodating, this has set a new standard for customer service. A special shout out to Gabriel! The interior of the hotel is stunning, situated in a historical bank, with a really cool bar in the vault. The restaurant and breakfast area vast and beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very cosy, nice beds, powerful shower. The hotel is situated on the edge of the old town, with access to many restaurants and bars, beautifully lit architecture and warm people.Highly highly recommended. I will be returning for sure!x

Just WOWVisited Bucharest and the Marmorosch Hotel for the first time and we were just amazed! Already at the entrance we were greeted with a welcome drink by the very friendly and attentive staff, which made us feel very welcome. From the amazing staff to the super clean rooms and the beautiful design, which has a very interesting story to tell, we just loved this hotel! One of the highlights for us was The Vault bar. Surrounded by the endless many lockers which are all still in tact and can be opened, this bar is kept in its original style and represents the bank which once was. Also the bar staff did a great job and mixed us some delicious co*cktails. 10 out of 10 for us and we will be back! Thanks Marmorosch Team for the unforgettable time!

I stayed here 2 times during Aug 2022, I can say a wonderful 5 stars hotel in the heart of Bucharest where everything are just a step away. Room was comfortable with complementary espresso coffee maker and fresh water. Swimming pool with jacuzzi were perfect place to relax also steam and sauna rooms. Restaurant service was excellent just set and enjoy. Definitely will come back.

Nice room & bathroom. The AC is fantastic to combat the heat. Breakfast variety was amazing. Helpful staff. I don’t know what it is, but the hotel smells amazing when you first enter in the lobby. Love how they provide guests with bottles of water daily.

I had a highly disappointing experience at this hotel. The service and food were both of very poor quality. The room service staff were not only unresponsive to my dietary requests and allergies but also displayed a rude and uncooperative attitude. They simply responded with "it's not possible" when I asked for accommodations, and it was only when I escalated the issue to a manager that any action was taken. The food I received was truly disgusting, and the overall service was far from satisfactory. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value good service and quality food.

The hotel is very well designed but the service varied and influenced my review. Check in was smooth and the receptionist that checked me in was very kind.Breakfast was a big letdown. My four-day stay included breakfast and ended up going only once after witnessing the bad service. I sat down and waited almost 20 minutes, and none of the staff acknowledged me. Due to this I assumed it was buffet style and ended up eating only fruit.Check out was a bit too long, and noticed very different service among the front desk staff. Ex, while other guests were getting copies of their receipts printed and in envelopes, and asked about their stay. I was just handed the printed copies with little interaction from the staff. I even had to ask to confirm if check out was completed, since nothing was said to me. Not even asked if I needed a ride anywhere. The doorman were nicer and interacted more, offered help in finding transportation anywhere.

Lobby/bar/breakfast all top notch, room service absolutely killed it. Especially the beef cheeks. Clean up to date rooms, cleaned daily (a bit of an anomaly since the pandemic) with heated floors in the bathroom which I didn’t think I’d love as much as I do. Staff is very nice and helpful.

I absolutely loved this hotel!Being of the most iconic buildings in Bucharest, it will make your trip feel like a time travel. We enjoyed everything from the coziness of the room, the hospitality, of course the amazing design of the interiors and the pampering of its spa.I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bucharest. The location is amazing, at a walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants.

The hotel looks great and conveniently located close to the old town. The location is good but not the best, as it's across some seedy dilapidated buildings (hopefully, these will be renovated soon). The lobby is amazing and very well decorated. However, the rooms and service do not match the expectations. Service people I interacted with were not very sincere and it felt like they just pushed paid hotel services instead of giving true recommendations. Standard rooms are small and have strange and inconvenient layouts, materials don't seem to be of the best quality (expectations set by the brand and the lobby are high). A lot of rooms look into the courtyard which is just walls and windows. Hallways just look depressing. Carpet in the hallways looks like it has stains all over it (although it looks like it's a pattern). The hotel is like a maze (room floors) and it's easy to get lost at first. The Vault bar looks interesting and is a unique feature of this hotel.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Marmorosch, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Considering the high cost of the hotel, I expected a level of service that would match the price tag. However, I was sorely disappointed with the quality of service provided.First and foremost, the staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to guest needs. I encountered numerous instances where my requests for assistance were met with apathy and a lack of urgency. This lackluster service did not align with the premium experience that I had hoped for. When you pay a premium for a hotel, you expect to be treated with attentiveness and care, and unfortunately, that was not the case during my stay. Moreover, I was shocked and deeply disappointed by the hotel's dress code policy, particularly as it pertained to the co*cktail bar. As a guest staying at the hotel, I had assumed that I would have full access to all the amenities and facilities available. However, I was denied entry to the co*cktail bar solely based on my attire. While I understand the importance of maintaining a certain atmosphere, I believe that as a paying guest, I should have been granted access regardless of my outfit, as long as it was within reasonable bounds of decency.Sadly, Marmorosch fell short in both regards, leading me to choose alternative options for my future stays.

This hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay to explore Bucharest. I wish I could have spent more time at the hotel and would have liked to have enjoyed the spa. We ordered room service twice and would consider breakfast in bed during our next stay. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Have been to Bucharest many times on official visits. Always stayed in a different hotel close to this one and this was my first time in Marmorosch. All I can say is regret not staying here before.Rooms are impeccably styled and very clean.Buffet breakfast is amazing. What stood out particularly was how good their staff is. Each and every staff members I spoke to was a test case of how hospitality should be done.A guy helped me set up my laptop when I was in the waiting area. Another staff when I wanted to charge my laptop asked me to plug out a lamp and put my wire in.I will highly recommend this place. The basem*nt of the hotel has an underground vault as the building was the first commercial and investment bank of Romania. So don’t miss it.

There are not enough words to describe this hotel. Services and rooms are top-notch! Spa ang 24-hour gym are great plus and the co*cktail bar Vault is unmissable. Gabriel, the concierge is simply amazing!

What an Experience! So glad we chose the Marmorosch. And excellent Marriott elite treatment. Fantastic location, walk toEverything in Old Town. Extensive breakfast. Grand entry and bar area. Loved the downstairs bar in the vault. Rooms modern and very comfortable. You feel you are in a grand part of history staying here. Staff was so friendly and helpful too. Nice fitness center too. Did not use the spa. Last visit had stayed at the Sheraton, and will choose Marmorosch again without question.

Been a guest twice in the first couple of months since the operations started. As a former high-end hospitality professional myself, I noticed sub-standard quality service in Food&Beverage, both in the restaurant and the room service. Also, the front office desk was unmanned at several moments, except by the concierge, who can luckily make reservations and check-ins/checkouts.Otherwise, fantastic ground lever and good enough rooms! Keep up the good work!

Great location, beautiful building, good rooms and amenities, lovely spa area with gym, pool, sauna, steam room and spa treatments. Service was mixed - front desk a little offhand and officious; breakfast restaurant was very good; Vault bar was slick and professional; main bar a little amateurish; concierge staff very pleasant and helpful. The decor in the rooms was tasteful, the bed comfortable and the bed linen was of good quality. The shower was excellent with White Company products. Small criticism, only 1 set of hooks for the handtowel, robes and bath towels and no stand or hooks for coats in the room.

At the end of 2022, I had the pleasure of staying at an excellent hotel that provided a great overall experience. The location of the hotel was perfect, and the breakfast was exceptional. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the rooms were of a very high standard, providing the utmost comfort and luxury. The hotel's various amenities were well-maintained, and the breakfast space was truly amazing, adding to the overall positive experience. However, while the hotel itself was excellent, the staff, unfortunately, did not live up to the hotel's high standards. The reception staff, who manage the hotel, were unprofessional, and their inability to exercise discretion left a sour taste in my mouth. In particular, one employee, Bogdan, who worked at the reception, argued with us in front of everyone over a small fee, which caused considerable embarrassment and frustration. The staff's lack of judgment was not limited to this incident alone; they also showed a lack of communication skills, which was highly disappointing. They caused me great heartache, as they whined with me about trivial issues and wasted my valuable time. In a luxury five-star hotel, the staff should be sophisticated, intelligent, and professional. Unfortunately, this was not the case in this hotel, which is a real shame. In conclusion, while the hotel facilities were of the highest standard, the unprofessional behavior of the staff significantly impacted my experience. It is crucial for a five-star luxury hotel to have a highly competent and professional staff, and it is unfortunate that this was not the case in this hotel.

Perfectly located walking distance from everywhere you’d want to visit by the old town, the Hotels spa and indoor pool saunas are super relaxing, the service was perfect and the breakfast was very good. There’s also a nice Vault bar in the basem*nt and a full bar in the lobby that serves great food.Very pleasant stay highly recommended!

The Marmorosch Bucharest gets so many things right, yet the staff make for a very unpleasant stay. The hotel itself is spectacular. Our room had incredibly high ceilings and the bathroom was larger than most hotel rooms, clad in granite and beautifully appointed. The location can't be beat with it's central location. However, the staff was most unwelcoming. We were there at the time of some snooty super car rally, so maybe that was part of the problem. The front desk always had a line to it with only two staff members assisting. When we did make it to the front of the line, our questions were more dismissed than answered. Our experience in the restaurant, of which we were one of three occupied tables was abysmal. When our waiter refused a simple menu substitution, he then disappeared for the rest of our meal having another waiter attend to us. The manager was most apologetic when I complained to her, so there is hope that the service at the Marmorosch may improve in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay at The Marmorosch and look forward to an opportunity to return for a longer stay. Even though it is owned by Marriot, the hotel is a refreshing change from the corporate feel of the big brand facilities. As much as we enjoy a high quality Marriott The Marmorosch has an altogether different and more niche feel to it. The building being an historic bank building is charming and has been very sympathetically updated to the current use. Then staff were all very helpful. I see some reviews suggesting that staff might be 'standoffish' although I think it is simply a matter of culturally differing expectations. True they are less effusive / more conservative in their initial approach than may be the norm within the hospitality industry in some western cultures but actually, we found that when we engaged with the staff they were all very helpful and friendly, professional and personable. Whether on the front desk or concierge, in the spa or in the restaurant, all were a real pleasure to interact with, to seek input and suggestions from. We were pleasantly impressed and felt very comfortable and well cared for at The Marmorosch. We were disappointed only that our stay was too short. Next time, we will stay longer.

Located in the center of Bucharest, in a historic building that used to be a bank headquarters, it has been renovated and transformed into a luxury hotel, preserving and restoring the architectural elements. The spa stands out, as does the co*cktail bar set up in the former bank vault, and the staff is very accommodating. The breakfast was varied and tasty. I also had dinner, but I can't say I was impressed. I recommend the location for both business trips and family city breaks.

The Marmorosch was hands-down the nicest place we stayed in all of Romania. The building is magnificent, the staff is delightful, and the rooms are beautiful. They have a wonderful breakfast and a nice bar and lounge area.We particularly enjoyed Alina, who took excellent care of us each day at breakfast! The champagne welcome is very nice and they did a great job of shuffling our bags to the rooms. Every time we needed to call for service or extra towels, it was handled very quickly.

Well, that small room (551 if I’m not mistaken) on the 5th floor without regular windows is not something you would expect from a 5* hotel with these prices… definitely not worth the money. anyway, nice sauna (even thought I was told that I can’t shower naked after sauna :D) strange. Great breakfast

Rooms are a bit small but comfortable and up to date. The hotel sits just a stones through from a strip with lots of food and shopping options, but not so close that nightly activities become disruptive while trying to sleep. Service is amazing, from house keeping, room service to the wait staff at the hotel restaurant, all extremely pleasant experiences. Be sure to check out The Vault, it's a bar on the sub level that used to be an old bank vault. The original door is there and all of the lockboxes still function, it's a very cool spot with some great craft co*cktails.

Beautiful building. Great location. Every staff member was first class! Breakfast buffet was excellent. The lobby bar makes a killer Manhattan. The Vault “speakeasy” is way cool.

After missed connections and late night arrival, it was nice to be greeted warmly at the front desk by Alex. He made us feel a welcomed member and even gave us courtesy coupons for breakfast. We greatly appreciated the wonderful service from all the staff.Excellent breakfast buffet with cooked to order eggs and fresh made cappuccinos (not from a machine).Close proximity to old town. Rooms were clean and comfortable with amenities such as robe, slippers, tea, coffee.I also appreciated the fact that our two rooms were close by.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

A very nice Mariott group hotel in the old town. Even at times might be a bit more expensive, I recommend it as the luxury and the way the staff make you feel will offer you a great time there. The breakfast is also quite good and they have a good variety of food.Parking it is quite limited, but for free in front of the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Service was very good. We enjoyed the spa facilities. The room was lovely. Good location. Would happily stay here again if visiting Bucharest. The bars were expectedly on the expensive side and we didn't enjoy the ambiance of The Vault bar as much as we had expected to. We ordered room service one day which was prompt and the food itself was enjoyable enough but nothing special.

Hands down one the best hotels in Bucharest. Highly recommended it.It's located in the Old Town, close to the restaurants, bars, shops and also the metro station. The rooms are spectacular, high ceiling, well maintained and with all the amenities needed.Staff are polite, especially the reception. The biggest plus is the bar and restaurant area. Great for chilling out and having some drinks. The style is clean, polished and elegant. Loved all my stays there.

This beautiful hotel is an old bank building located in old town of Bucharest. There are great restaurants, cafes bars and activities to do within walking distance. The staff at the hotel is 2nd to none and absolutely attentive. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful and clean. The vault club downstairs in the old bank vault is a great place for a fun night out.

As a loyal Marriott member, my go to was definitely the Marmorosch. The Autograph collection has many beautiful hotels all over the world to include this one. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and clean. The service is impeccable and friendly. I’ve stayed here on two different occasions for work and each time was perfect.

This was a beautiful hotel and a fantastic stay. Located at the edge of old town, it still allows for an entrance drop off by your taxi/Bolt/Uber. The hotel was a made over historic building with a downstairs bar made inside an actual old vault (called The Vault - makes sense hahaha). It's very neat to see - definitely stop by when it is open. Upon check-in, you are greeted by friendly staff and offered a nice glass of champagne. You are quickly off to your room and on your way to visit the city core. The Old Town is relatively small, which means you can easily walk to all the attractions, including the palace just on the other side of the river. The rooms were very nicely decorated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were spacious and modern (like the entire hotel). The buffet breakfast was very diverse with à la carte options. I highly recommend this hotel for location and comfort. Thank you for the great stay.

This hotel, housed in a former bank building with a rich historical background, seamlessly blends magnificent architecture with modern elegance and comfort. The exquisite cuisine, curated by talented chefs, delight the taste buds. The well-trained staff, under a customer-focused manager, ensures a seamless and enjoyable stay. The spa, boasting a pool and two saunas, offers a haven of relaxation. Beyond these highlights, the attention to detail, warm ambience, and numerous amenities make this hotel an exceptional destination for those seeking luxury, comfort, and a touch of history. Is a complete experience, a delight to come back every time.
