register at wwwhixsonfhcom LAKE CHARLES On Jan 19 at 4:33 am Louisiana State Police Troop responded to a report of a vehicle fire on the Interstate 210 Calcasieu River Bridge just west of Lake Charles in Calcasieu Parish according to a release issued by LSP representative Sgt James Anderson Upon arrival troopers determined that the vehi cle was not on nre The driver and sole occupant 24 year old Jovani A Galindo of Colton Calif indicated that there was a bomb in his vehicle Traffic heading toward the bridge was diverted and vehicles already on the bridge were evacuated Anderson's release stated The Louisiana State Police Emergency Services Unit responded and was asasted by the AT and BI as well as the Carlyss ire Denartment Because of the nature of the call responders had to methodically evaluate the vehicle to determine if an explosive device was located in the car the release said Troopers and agents determined that the vehicle did not contain an explosive device The bridge was completely reopened just before 12:30 pm Galindo was arrested for obstruction of a hi gh way of commerce and criminal mischief Anderson's release stated He was booked into the Calcasieu
