How many credits do you need to transfer to USD?
Eligibility Requirements:
Any transferred course must be passed with a grade of "C-" or higher. All courses transferred to USD are for unit credit only and are not calculated into the USD GPA.
USD accepts 49.87% transfer applicants, which is competitive. To have a shot at transferring into USD, you should have a current GPA of at least 3.9 - ideally you're GPA will be around 4.06. In addition, you will need to submit standardized test scores. The below tables show the SAT and ACT breakdown of USD students.
The Petition for Pre-USD Transfer Course Credit Form is used to request an additional evaluation of a course you completed at another university before you began taking courses at USD that you are currently receiving elective credit for to see if it may fulfill a core curriculum, major or minor requirement.

The Transfer Articulation Form is located under the My Academics tab of the Torero Hub in the box titled Transfer Articulation. Click on the Request for Transfer Articulation link.
